How does the top windshield trim come off? I got a shitton of rust forming there from a botch window replacement by the previous owner. The trim isnt honda brand.

I need to remove it to grind the rust off and prep that area for paint.

It's just clipped in.

At least it's supposed to be. Never really know if someone else glued it on or something.

Any trick to getting it off? feel like I'm going to break it if I try. It is very cold outside, so that might not help.

There's no fancy tricks. Just pull it off.

The worst that'll happen is that you'll break the clips and need to replace them... which is easy. (and cheap)
