Rear brakes squeak upon disengage
New to Hondas .. 2001 Civic Si Coupe (Canadian).
Recently started hearing a brief squeak coming from rear drums after letting go of the break pedal .. as if the shoes are squeaking as they disengage. They however do not make this noise when the e-brake is engaged.
Do I simply need new shoes or is there something else going on here that needs a greasing perhaps?
Cheers

Re: Rear brakes squeak upon disengage
There are moving parts which require lubricant (grease) in specific areas. Urgent? No. Annoying? Certainly can be.
My car sporadically did the same thing.
Edit:
I have not watched the entire video; only panning through it- he seems to identify the spots you'll want to inspect/lube.
