the TSX has a K24 the EP3 and DC5 has a K20. the s2000 is a F20C which is a DOHC F series RWD. its moddified from the JDM accord.
1llmatic blacked out = good.

Picture is from when I put the engine back in after the paint job. I'll take newer pictures and post what it looks like now with the wire management and stuff.

does the k24 out of a element have potential? cheaper car, cheaper motor, and easier to find? put cams in it and take it a alittle past 7k rpms.

I've driven an EM2 and an RSX with K20a2's, as well as my own EM2 with a D17. I must say that the EM2 with a K20a2 pulls much harder than the RSX and, of course, my own EM2. It doesn't feel like it has any torque steer, and I was quite pleased with the overall effect of the bigger engine.

Re: (Agais)
R.I.P. - 8 days after the swap was done...damn drunk drivers!
The money shot:
Swap was done way back in Oct 2003...it had one of the first HASport mount kits on it. Explains why it isnt as clean as some of these other swaps. The mounts had to be modified, among many many other things. Car took 3 months to finish. Wiring done by my buddy with two helms sitting in front of him. HASport wasnt doing the wiring for people yet. Tons of fun when it was running though.
Oh yea: Pictures of the car the day of the accident, but before the accident can be found in my signature. Yea, that paint is 2.5 years old. I babied that car.

Sorry, trying to keep conversation down to a minimum, but thought that I could help with this.
The K20A2 in my 01 civic was sweet. Ive owned a GSR, 5th gen Prelude with all the bolt ons, an EG hatch gutted with JDM B16A with LSD, all the bolt ons, LSD, and cams. This car is unlike all of them.
The 6-speed is fantastic! I had a Neuspeed short shift adapter on mine, and it was just a wrist movement into the next gear. It was beautiful. Just snick, snick, snick, and you are at about 100mph in no time at all.
The comment about no torque steer...are you crazy? The torque steer was pretty big in my car. My camber was spot on, but it felt like 1st gear almost lost traction at the upper rpms, then slam second, and HOLD ON! The steering wheel would jerk like crazy, and I would just roast the tires for a bit before they could scramble for traction. Jamming into 3rd came a lot easier, just a simple chirp.
The car was a blast to drive! Not to mention it was fun watching the tach needle just get drained into the red zone all the way up to the K20A2's 8000rpm redline. That, with the torque steer, power, sounds, VTEC, put a smile on my face every time. And I only had a CAI, and exhuast.
