Crossed Jumper Cables
My son had a dead battery on his 2001 Honda Civic. His buddy tried to jump start it for him and crossed the jumper cables. Now it's dead, other than brake lights and hazard lights. I replaced the battery thinking that may be it. it didn't work. What should I look for?

If you look in the fuse box that is under the hood on the left side of the engine bay, you can look for the 80A fuse that is directly in the front of the fuse box. It could be blown.
If that fuse is not blown, inspect around for possible other blown fuses both in that fuse box as well as the box located under the steering wheel kick panel.
If there are no blown fuses, you may have fried the ECU.
If that fuse is not blown, inspect around for possible other blown fuses both in that fuse box as well as the box located under the steering wheel kick panel.
