Default No compression on cylinders 1 and 4

Hey there, hope someone can help me out.....I have a 2005 civic 1.7L d17a1....ran great , then all of a sudden one day it had horrible idle ,let it sit ...the next day it started and drove till I hit 3000 rpm then it would bog out....the next day it would crank over but wouldn't fire.... fuel pump was what I changed first, no help....all my coils are getting power sent to them (checked with a test light) .. I changed all the spark plugs and no help... I checked compression and cylinders 1and4 have no compression at all and cylinders 2and3 have 120psi....I was told it wasn't my cam crank sensor cause a mechanic said it was getting an rpm reading with his code reader
HELP ME PLEASE

if it was cylinders that were beside each other I'd say head gasket failure but seeing how its 1and 4 I doubt that

That was some random guess to come to this conclusion :p. And a very strange and suspicious 1 and 4...

But if you have access to air, put the cylinder at tdc then put shop/compressor air directly into the cylinder and listen to where it goes. And top off the radiator and leave the cap off. The water will rise if it's a headgasket.

Prove me wrong and do the cylinder leakdown test for a failed head gasket. Very common in these engines.
