i switch my 02 sensor out and put on a new one but my check engine light keeps coming on every 15-18 miles..the code read p0138..not sure what is wrong since i fix the problem..any idea on what else can be wrong?...thanks.

no i havnt try resetting the ecu ..im a rookie to this and im just pulling out my hair trying to look over all this...but if you dont mind how do you reset ur ecu?..

Disconnect the battery for a couple seconds the reconnect it. Then see if your code comes back

ok i did take off the battery and the check engine would come back on within 15-18 miles..at this point im at lost..
i did that bout 3 times alrdy and yet it comes back on with the same code..p0138..but it has the new 02 sensor on so my only guess is the wiring bad or something?..

For your secondary sensor, did you actually install the proper oem secondary plug in sensor? Or have you put in an incorrect aftermarket sensor, or a make fit universal aftermarket sensor where you have to reuse your existing sensor plug in harness?

i put in the right one from napa auto for my car...but come to find out theres a gap between the bottom of my header and the muffler pipe switch its connects with two srcews..
