You're quite welcome. I needed some users to populate the new "Build Link Thread", so I plucked you for one of the "test users".

Re: (5hifty_ES1)
As promised here are some of the pics that i didnt have a chance to post...
Here were some pics of my upgraded front brakes:
1. Calipers from 99 ITR DC2
2. 11.2 (i think) rotors from a prelude (bolt pattern was 4x114, but we elongated the bolt holes which was fine since its hub centric)
3. Stainless steel brake lines
4. DOT 4 ford brake fluid....on to the pics
Beside my useless and heavy *** AEM big rotor conversion...what a waste of money that was
Cleaning the sliders and the slider pin journals
Thermal paint markings on the rotor...
Tada!....
These were relatively one of the first rotors from KVR with the J slots, i picked this design cause i didnt want to weaken the rotor by cross drilling them and taking out material and for some reason i thought normal slotting would be too aggressive on the pads....that and i thought they lookd awesome...lol
comparison with oem....
Up in the air...
kinda rice but i painted my shims...
my jdm safety shoes..
pops helping me bleed the brakes...
I would like to thank Boilermaker for being the inspiration of one of the best modifications ever that you could do for our cars, much respect, Chris from StageFourmotorsports, Telly and KVR. The verdict? Lets say that I have a huge smile everytime i hit the brakes and a cut lip everytime i eat my steering wheel...lol.
The pedal feel is amazing and i gained more confidence for late braking as well as trail braking. No modification for the brake booster was needed. I also upgraded my rear shoes to rear discs from an EP3....gotta find pics...
til the next update..

Re: bored + broke = Pics (5hifty_ES1)
hey if you had installed your side markers by yourself, i was wondering the template for its placement (i.e. measurement from door to sidemarker, etc.). I'm not sure if you catch my drift...but yeah lol =D

Re: My Build Thread
dude sick car
i also have an es1 auto i would like to swap to manual.
i would like to ask you, was it worth the swap to you?
i have looked into trading my car for a manual but with the mothers name on the title its become hectic and i really love the body and style of my honda, tho neglected.
so ive decided to do the swap was wonderin would a tranny from a 92 civic work and would i need to run clutch lines? considering my auto tranny is already hydrolic?
sick lookin car tho dude 4dr all the way! lol

Re: My Build Thread
Nope, you're going to need a transmission from a D17.
Yes, you're going to need a lot of things besides just a new transmission. I suggest you do some reading up on the subject. This thread has exactly what you need to know:
http://www.7thgenhonda.com/forum/sho...nsmission+swap
In all honesty, I suggest you register on that site as well, there's a lot of information regarding 7thgens. D-series.org can be helpful as well.
