Loose strut/knuckle nut.

Hello, I am having issues with my suspension nut coming loose (the one that holds the knuckle to the strut) due to what I'm guessing, vibrations. I am thinking of using Locktight Blue but was wondering if using a self-locking nut might be a better idea? Can anyone care to comment? Thanks for any input!

That shouldnt be happening, something is off there.......is your suspension modified? heavy aftermarket wheels?

Thanks for the reply.

I am using Tokico D-Spec struts. Everything else, including the wheels and springs, are stock.

Is this one a 7th gen CIvic, 01-05? IIRC there are two bolts with nuts holding the knuckle to the strut (Macpherson Style Strut) ? You could use lock-tight to keep it from moving, but something is amiss there, Ive never seen one loosen itself.
