JDM swap into 2004 civic LX
Just picked up an 04 civic with a blown motor
local shop has JDM non vtec 01-05 civic motors and auto transmissions.
This is just a stock daily so i would like to keep it as simple as possible, will this swap directly in engine and trans? any sensors need to be swapped? any issues running a jdm auto trans?
thanks for any help.

Jdm engine swap will work fine. It's pretty much a direct fit if you stick with the d17a. Just did one myself. From what I understand and the way I did it you gotta keep the intake from the car your fixing.
As as far as trannys go, I've heard people have issues because some of the trannys aren't the same and require the different ecu/ harness. I've not done one of these.
