Do you have any check engine lights? What idle problems are you having? Manual/automatic?

What is the check engine light code? P#### Check for vaccum leaks or manifold cracks. Make sure all fittings are corrosion free and all bolts are secure. Vape in the engine bay a little, see if it sucks fog in somewhere where it shouldn't lol

Engine codes are 4 digits. Did you mean P0505?

Somethings I suggest checking, if it is P0505 (Idle air control system malfunction)

>IACV or wiring to it
>Gasket leaks at IACV, TB, or intake manifold
>Carbon build up on TB or otherwise sticking TB

OK so I have sent about two hours looking over wires and I did not see any thing wrong with any of them from the Engine bay, I made sure there was no carbon build up or sticking tb I just have not looked in to if the gaskets are bad, I will do that this week. Would a bad map sensor cause this issue?

I had to replace the intake manifold but that was it. I live in Phoenix,az and right now it is to hot for me to work on it when I can see and I do not have a work light so I would hate to take the intake manifold off to replace the gaskets in this heat.

Sounds like you have a vacuum leak from replacing the intake manifold.

Another method I have found scary useful is vaping into the engine bay and watching the fog move, that'll give away vaccuums as well.

I'm also having this problem and have replace the IACV with a used unit. Do I have to do the idle-relearn procedure to fix it?
