lol stupid questions get stupid answers.. how can you seriously expect us to know what kind of HP you're making? Who is to say your mods didn't decrease horsepower? The only way to know if it worked is if you put it on a dynamometer. If you live in an area that doesn't do emissions testing, the most effective mod you might be able to do is put on a D15 or D16Y8 intake manifold in place of the manifold you currently have, then run a custom tune. The intake manifold in the '01+ civics hurts HP but it was made to save on aluminum since the older intakes used a lot of aluminum.

You probably have around 130hp at the crank, those mods usually add 1 or 2 hp at the top end.

At most, you're looking at maybe 6-10 hp gained, but I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't that much. Please see the FAQ's for information regarding power gains to be had for the 7th Generation Civic. The D17 doesn't really respond well at all to bolt-on's.

i heard about putting the d16 mani on the d17 but i have tried to take mine off and its impossible because of how hard it is to get to the bolts on the bottom. i dont really wana resort to pulling the motor out a little bit just to get to the intake manifold. and idk if it would even be worth it to do, like idk how much i would even get if i swaped it. do u think i would be able to put an aftermarket d16 mani on my car?

Aftermarket D16 intake manifolds have longer runners, which wouldn't clear the firewall on a 7th Gen. As for your intake manifold's lower bolts: you can access them from underneath the car rather easily.

You could, but again... you won't be looking at much gain in hp. It'd be a good modification for someone going with a turbo setup.
