header on 05 civic dx

headers on 05 civic dx
does anyone know who to put headers on a 05 civic dx with out throwing codes. the cat and the manifold are made as one, i know there are a few companies the make a combo but i don thtink its really a cat i think it just has o2 bungs

sorry i misread your post ... for a dx the d17a1 (non vtec) the header is different than the d17a2 (vtec). if you would like to install a performance header you would need to get a high flo cat and header combo meant for the dx/lx, because the o2 sensors are located in dif areas. Also, since you are would be using a "hi-flo" cat, your car will throw a CEL code. to prevent the code from throwing use an o2 simulator (i did and it worked fine for me). i had a HP header and hi flo cat (which does bolt up to the stock catback).
