Default ebay black out headlights

I heard someone on here say that the oem bulb sockets don't fit in the ebay black out headlights for (01-03) civic's. Is this true? I would just get oem and take them apart but they can be pretty pricey and I don't have too much time on my hands. Any help would be great, thanks

The parking light and the signal light don't sit in there too snug. You can put a little silicone on them to get them to stay in. Also, might want to go around the edge with some more silicone to make sure they don't leak. I have the ebay clear ones, but I painted them kind of like my old OEM lights, before they got smashed...
