I'm an eg/ef guy dabbling with this 02 I just put a new engine in...

Alternator light came on, immediately after felt as if auto trans was trying to lock up. Tach showed nothing, but engine was still running. Also no temp reading at gauge. (Cooling fan still kicks on)

Engine runs, but doesn't feel/sound like it gets past 3k or so

P,R,N indicators work, D,D3,2 don't. Can feel the trans engage for drive, but seems to move easiest in 2

Last but not least, the immobilizer indicator continues blinking, well after the engine is running.

Cel's I had running up to this were for 02 sensor low voltage, vss (speedo s working though). Now whenever I try to pull koeo codes, all I get is an error message through my scanner.

Any ideas or testing procedures to eliminate things? Thanks in advance

was hoping to hear something other than "ECU is toast" but found a good deal one, seems to work, will be taking it to dealer tomorrow to get the correct reflash so that my key will work with it...
