Car idles very high and then low after engine swap.
So I installed a d17A on a 2003 civic ex. My problem now is that when it starts it shoots all the way to 4000rpm and then back down again then up again to 4000rpm. Been searching through the internet and it's a little bit all over the place. I put a different throttle body and still the same thing. Sprayed a little carb cleaner and still the same thing. I monitored my reader and when the car is off it states that the MAP or KPA is at a 99 fluctuates to a 100. Not sure if this is a vacum leak or some sensor issue.

The throttle body that came with the new motor did not have the cruise control throttle body and that's why I replaced it. Not sure if u need a new gasket for that. Made sure all the hoses coming out of the throttle body has clamps as well as the hoses connected to the car.
I come to this site for specific questions, hoping that some experts in the community can shed some light.
