Brake pad wear issue

Brake pad wear issue
Hello,
On my 2004 acura EL I was hearing the wear indicator on the front drivers side. It randomly starts squeaking like while I was driving on the highway and no brake pressed. I notice that now it always starts squeaking when I first start the car and start driving. Ive been hitting the brakes hard when this happns(during slow/fast drive speeds) and the noise goes away. I didnt chceck the condition of the passenger side front yet. I jacked the front tires off the ground and put it in drive and the front driver's side was squeaking without any breaks being pressed (i had only hand break pulled). I took pics of the inner and outer pads. The inner pad is unevenly worn. I'm trying to figure out what caused this. Could someone help me?
Front Driver's side Inner Pad (High wear on side with indicator)
Front Driver's side Outer Pad (Even wear)
On a side note, anyone know where I can buy pads from in Brampton/Mississauga area? or any deals in the area?
Thanks.

Re: Brake pad wear issue
I would check your caliper's sliders to see if they're moving freely. That looks like one of them is sticking a little bit. I'd take the sliders apart and grease them thoroughly, before you install new pads. Its common in places with snow, that you need to grease your sliders occasionally (I know this from personal experience).
As for replacement pads, I'd recommend ordering some online or going to a Honda dealership (if you want OEM pads). As for the rotors, you can get them through Advanced Auto Parts, if you want to save a few dollars. They've got good quality rotors for cheaper prices than OEM.

Re: Brake pad wear issue
sometimes the caliper holding bracket has rust buildup where the brake pad is held in underneath the shiny clips.i usually use a file to clean the rust off and put some synthetic grease underneath the clips too. this jams the pad usually against the rotor.
