Default is awd swap possible?

is it possible to use the awd from a cr-v and put it into an em2.

Japan came with an AWD em2. I guess if you are able to come across one of those then sure.

i think u could awd swap... there is a factory civic in japan i forgot the car code its not an em2 or an es1.. it is something weird... but it is awd i would think u can swap it all over since it is the same exact chassis

the chassis code of the awd civic is "LA-ES2"

they call it the honda ferio c4.. maaaan i wish we had the c4 model out here!!! booo lol

i really doubt u have to do any fabrications since there is an awd civic on our chassis.. pretty much u will need the tranny, drive shaft, axles, differential and the hardware? unless there are some sensors and stuff u would have to wire in...

Our chassis isn't built to accept the drivetrain of an AWD vehicle. We don't have tunneled floors, and I'm pretty sure you can't just stuff the rear-end of an AWD Civic under our cars without any modification whatsoever. (as noted in the other thread)

idk you never know.. maybe thats why the civic sits so high ? if u noticed it is sitting like a mosnter truck lol

Possible, but unlikely. I'd like to see photos if the interior and undercarriage of this Civic.
