can anyone tell where to find the oil sensor switch. I want to replace it. I have a Haynes manual but it hasn't helped locate it.

hi there. thanks for taking time to send this through. My cdti has the oil filter right at the top of the block and an oil cooler next to so i think it is a different model.

Any more ideas out there?

That's my fault for overlooking the CDTi bit. We don't have those in North America, and most of the members here are from.. you guessed it.

I don't have any information available for the CDTi, and I wasn't able to find anything via Google search that would be of any help.


I'd just look around the oil filter for something (small, as seen above) screwed into the engine with a wire loom coming from it.

I'm guessing it will look similar to this, with the loom is disconnected:
