I have a 2002 Civic LX with a water leak on the driver-side floor, NO MOONROOF. I pulled up the carpet along with the insulation behind the brake and gas pedal. I cleared out the drain areas under the hood where leaves like to gather and they are clear. I can see where the leak is sort of coming from. If you follow the Hood Latch cable to where it disappears into the body to the engine compartment, the leak is coming from high above that even and I can't figure out what it could be! I can see a trail of water leaking down from somewhere above up by the fender area. I have a maintenance manual, but it doesn't help at all. I haven't found any answers or anything similar online and am running out of ideas. There is a corner underneath the windshield under the plastic panel and rubber seal that goes around the corner of the hood that looked deteriorated and I am wondering if maybe water is getting in there and it needs to be sealed?
