Timing belt change for Civic 03
I have a Honda civic 03. The mileage is around 94k miles.
I am wondering when do I need to change the timing belt?
What happens if the timing belt brakes? will the engine break too??
Thanks

i find it amusing you spelled break wrong the first time and correctly the 2nd
To put it simply, you're motor would go BOOM. you should change it along with your tension belt and water pump.

Please read the FAQs before making a new thread.
If the timing belt breaks, you'll likely end up bending some valves and causing some damage to the piston(s) as a result of it.
And although the maintenance schedule says you aren't due for your timing belt just yet, many people do theirs around the 95k mark.
