Default 02 Honda Civic ex

Yo yo so I have a question. Just got a a swap on my car, very simple just d17a1 Vtec to a d17a2 vtec so the guy told me that he didn’t connect the ac because I use to have 3 wires to my ac and the new engine has 1 wire so my question is how do I connect my ac again?

He should have re used the same A/c components, there should be no difference between components on these two engines. Something seems odd. The first seventh gen I swapped, didn't even have to discharge the a/c system, just moved it out of the way. I would have someone else verify this, if not get your old compressor back.

They should have only swapped over the long block.
