Re: megan racing or d2 racing?
Megan Coilovers if you have to, but they are roughly near the price of some better coilovers so just save more and put the cash to it. A good coilover setup should be around $1k. And imo I think rota gt3's are hideous on an EM2.

suspension ?'s
Whats up guys? I have an '05 Civic LX in desperate need of a drop. I would like to go with an adjustable strut, shock package for a smoother ride, but the options are very limited. I do not want to hack up the factory struts, so Koni's are out. My question is, do the Tokico D-dpecs require modification, or are they just a direct fit? If not, I have to go with the Blue's. I guess. I'm thinking about mating them with Neuspeed sport springs. Any help would be great guys. Thanks

Re: suspension ?'s
Thanks guys, I'll check into progress coilovers. The price isn't much more than good struts, shocks, and springs. Are they delivered "ready to install", no modification? You will have to pardon my ignorance, I have never installed coilovers. Just springs and shocks on about 5 Mustangs. The easiest cars to work on.

D-specs you will have to modify your hood to provide space for the adjustment *****.

Re: suspension ?'s
Just my 2c... I've been working on suspension on both road & race cars (many different makes & models) for about 8 years, and in my experience - coilovers are fantastic for the street but you need to spend the money on them. Cheaper coilovers often are a step backwards.... both in ride comfort & handling. I think you'd be better off installing the Koni & spring package for the money.
Also depends on what you're expecting performance-wise too. Sounds like a cheeky question, but one I've often asked customers:
"Are you really going to drive the car hard enough (and legally) to get the most out of your suspension etc?? Or is it predominately for looks?"
Its surprising how many people change their mind once they seriously consider value for money!!! (and ride comfort etc etc...)
Just my 2c....
Regards
Mike

Re: suspension ?'s
well regarding the progress coil overs you mite need to replace the upper strut bearings for plastic ones from a 01 $35 bucks but thats it.you should also upgrade your bushings.
