Default Air bag light

Was wondering if anybody can help me reset the airbag light on the dash. I got into an accident which affected the left front side. The air bag light then came on even though the airbags never deployed. The light doesn't flash or anything it just comes on and stays on even when I'm driving. I tried the ignition method which most people say works but it's a keyless entry so it was difficult, I tried looking for the MES connector but either I used the wrong connection or it just doesn't work on my car. I even tried using my friends obd2 scanner but there were no error codes and even after I cleared the codes the light remained on. If anybody could suggest how I can fix this or what to look for I'd appreciate it.

Default Re: Air bag light

Let the dealer or a certified technician investigate and solve the problem. There is a reason the light is on - there is a malfunction or deteriorated connection somewhere meaning the bag might not provide the necessary life-saving protection in a crash.
