wow so you take a motor that looks like it was running nails inside the cylinder, then someone shows a crank that litterally broke the block in half.

this is probably the best worst thread i have ever seen. i feel bad for the owners of these motors.

That's a pretty ridiculous response. I've had three different cars on nitrous, running up to a 100shot on a bone stock engine. I ran it for over a year and half without even a hint of problem.

It's like anything else, if you have a failure, or it's detonating/running lean, then it's gonna go...period. Nitrous isn't the voodoo of the 70's...systems make it pretty failsafe, but every once in a while shit happens.

Bearing wear creating excessive crank/bearing clearance, oil starvation, or faulty rebuild practices are the most common.
