Default UKDM Carbon Clad EP3 Type-R Build

hey guys - long time lurker

just thought i'd share the build up of my current car with you guys over the pond!

just wanted to see what you think!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

here's how she started off in March 2010 when i bought her: Standard 2005 Premier Edition Civic Type-R, low miles, 2 owners, FHSH, minted tbh!

so i caught the modding bug pretty quickly with this one after owning an H22 EJ6 Coupe previously...

here's how she looked at December 2010

she scrubs up well...forgot how nice it looked when it was clean

then came:
Seibon Mugen Style Bonnet
Seibon Mugen Style Rear Spoiler
Evo Viii JDM Drivers seat with Spoon Low Position Seat rail, supreme driving position now! :y:

these came too:

couple small purchases

GReddy informeter:

Honda Access Wind Deflectors:

OEM Tweeter Pods with Kenwood tweeters and x-overs:

heavyweight shifter ****

with the VIS lip fitted

and thats where i'm at today!

short spec list

Engine:
"Tegiwa M" Carbon Induction Kit
Hondata KPro
Carbon Plug/Manifold Covers
TODA Race Header
TODA High Power System with Ti Dolphin Tip

with one of the supplied Hondata maps, slightly tweaked by myself, it made 232bhp/169lbft before the exhaust was fitted!

Exterior/Styling:
Genuine Mugen Grille
Carbon Fibre Seibon "Mugen" Spoiler
Carbon Fibre Seibon "Mugen" Hood
Carbon Fibre VIS Racing "Mugen" front Lip
JDM Wind deflectors
17x7 et42 Buddyclub P1SFII alloys painted custom bronze

Interior:
Premier Edition Standard (Recaros, red carpet, momo steering wheel etc)
Evo VIII Drivers seat on Spoon Low position rail (to be replaced by a sparco sprint fixed bucket)
DC5 Pedal set
JDM mats
Greddy Informeter
JVC Double Din Head unit
Seeker Heavyweight Gearknob

Suspension/Chassis:
Bilstein PSS9 Coilovers (To be replaced by KW Variant 2s)
ETech Strut Brace
Eibach Camber adjustment bolts/arms
Aggressive Alignment Setup by local motorsport company
Mintex Pads & Discs
Energy Suspension Engine Mount Inserts
JDM FARB & RARB
Full Superpro Polybushings

TO DO:
recently purchased a set of S2000 Clocks with converter harness for the EP3, so will be fitting them shortly

have also purchased a Jackson Racing Supercharger with 9psi pulley, and will be having a shot at fitting that very soon, then its off to the tuner to be mapped as i don't trust the generic KPro maps to be good with F/I

so thats where i'm at....C&C welcome!
