Re: sticker bomb
It started facking snowing right after I took this. So pissed so I threw all my shit in the car and headed to the car wash because I have no covered parking at my place.
Stickers done, prepping for clear. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...o/IMG_1578.jpg Tape off http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...o/IMG_1579.jpg Yeah I know it's dirty but the weather started getting shitty this past week. Close-up http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...o/IMG_1580.jpg |

Can someone please explain to me why the dumbest ideas ever turn into the newest fad with honda owners? Stickering up random parts of your car,low offset wheels with -6 camber and stretched tires, roof racks when you don't haul anything, wink mirrors "cause your strapped in so damn tight you can't even move your head" Whatever happened to clean and functional cars? F--king kids these days!

Your not doing anything different at all. Same stuff that's being done by other people. Yes a wink mirror is functional if you have very limited movement of your head....If you have race seats and 5pt harness' Otherwise in a car with stock seats and seat belts it's just another dumb H-T trend that makes our scene look bad.
Do what you want to do the best that you can. If you think it's the best way to "represent the Honda scene", do that. Maybe some people will think of your car as a representative and not just the cars you don't like. And even if some people like the cars with all those parts you don't like, big freaking deal. I personally wouldn't stickerbomb my car, but I think it looks neat. I personally wouldn't build a race car, but it can be neat to watch. If we all did the same thing, it would be boring. |

Long story short I scraped a wall parking which left a nice huge scrape on the corner of the bumper. I sanded it down to all the way to the plastic because the scrape was that deep. I ended up primering the whole corner of the bumper and never got around to respraying it. Now I like it with the stickers. |

Re: sticker bomb
It was unique and interesting the first time I saw the "sticker-bomb" style. I'd say, if I saw only one car form like a magazine or something that did it, it would def. be something new. Once it starts becoming a trend, it might get a little tasteless.. but then again, a trend is just a trend, right?

Re: sticker bomb
The outside of the car is so dam hard to keep from peeling.I posted a few pages back that i did my trunk.I cleared it got uv spray all that shit. The rain cold and snow ate that shit up quick. The paper turn's yellow fast if you use clear with any bit of acid in it.The color will run on the sticker just a lil and eat the paper even thinner.Unles you pay for a paint shop clear coat it wont last long.I used two stickerbomb book's big waste of money.

Re: sticker bomb
It looks good if you have the right stickers. Did it on my bike rack a few years ago.

Re: sticker bomb
Do you HAVE to sand the car before you put stickers on it? Or will it still stick good enough and you could still spray a clear coat on it? |
