Spare tire cover
I'm not sure if this is the best place for this, but somehow I don't see a tech aspect to it.
Yeah, I have this '95 EX and it's got a spare tire cover, and it's this piece of **** cardboard-like material to begin with so naturally when my trunk was leaking/is leaking it's soaked and all fucked up. It's already sagging to the ******* tire and looks like utter crap.
I don't want to buy a new one, is there any replacement for this? Anything I can do? I would just use a sheet of ply wood but it's too thick and comes out looking like **** (I've done it on my probe). So does anybody have any suggestions, DIY's, writeups, anything?? That thing sucks.

Just remove all that unnecessary weight and carry a can of fix-a-flat 
Might want to try the 92-00 section. Did you fix the leak so you don't get the same problem with the new cover

-Go to home depot
-Buy a sheet of your desired thickness particle board.
-Take it home.
-Lay your oem board over it.
-Trace the outline onto your fresh clean home depot board.
-Cut it out.
-Let your friends tag on it.
-Put the new piece in your car and cover it up with your rear carpet.
-Throw old spare cover out.
-Be happy.
Id move this to the Fabrication forum or something.

Yeah, I thought about doing that method. I did it on my ford probe and it looked like crap. The welds on the wheel well made it act as a fulcrum and it made the carpet stick out. Though I suppose that's what I'll end up doing.
I'm just surprised. With all the JDM and aftermarket bullshit that they have out there there's no something like a normal trunk cover instead of that cardboard piece of **** they give you that you can actually ******* use.

No, I didn't fix the leak. It rained all day today and that combined with a good hangover made me stay inside most of the day. My trunk's probably full to the brim. Last time it rained it rained so hard my back seat got wet. I'ma have to start treating for mildew if this **** keeps up.

So I found this piece.
It's a stainless steal magnetic board used in the hospital where my dad worked, it's been sitting behind one of the door's for the last god knows how long.
So I put it in, it fit rather nice.
That was that.
Didn't fix the leak, but it fixed the spare tire problem, and I popped the plunger out on the bottom so all the water will just drain out instead of filling up the wheel well.
Now, just g2 figure out why/where it's leaking in the trunk...sprayed the **** outta it w/ the hose and couldn't find any leaks...
Pics of the makeshift wheel cover are here. Damn thing came in handy just in time
