side markers????

Re: side markers???? (azndiva)
I don't like them because most aftermarket ones make it look "rice." Meaning they are either too bright, stick out like a pimple, or stay on all the time. I would say no on them because it serve no real purpose on a small car, and perfer the clean look.

Re: side markers???? (azndiva)
The real purpose of sidemarkers is to let people know you're signalling towards them, if they are unable to see your rear blinkers. They are not supposed to be lit all the time, and having them lit all the time can get you pulled over by the cops. They blink when your signals are on, and that's it. The lenses can be amber or clear, but the bulb should be amber.

I have OEM Stanley typr R side markers in Amber. And I think they look very nice. Definitley get amber side markers. Plus have someone good do them, I have seen people put them in crooked, looks like ****. OH and the amber ones are not rice as long as you don't put blue bulbs in them. I think they enhance the look of clean cars
