So what's the deal with those XMODS? Are they fast? I read about all the different things you can do to them... I didn't know you could slam 'em that much! How much have you spent? Thanks... and BadA$$ Thread!!!

Re: (eL)
that CTR was sick. i liked it white the best. Shoulda painted the engine bay black when you did the red. but now you just need to paint the grills and fogs.
Nucks, where did you find those wheels at? i went to a local hoby model shop and they had some work meisters but i wanna see what else they have at other places. thanks
They look good

The Revell-Monogram 1993 Civic coupe kit comes with Tuner bumpers only. To get stock bumpers, you'll have to buy Hasegawa's Civic EG hatch or Ferio kits. However, they are 1/24 scale as opposed to Revell-Monogram's 1/25 scale, so if you tried to retrofit them, they wouldn't mate up well or look right.

Here's my contribution to the Xmods.....
actually it's a 1/10th scale of the WRX WRC car

They don't have very much stuff for imports at my hobby shop either, so I got them from http://www.hlj.com it's hobby link Japan. I've found it's probably one of the better sites out right now if you want really good stuff. Exhaust, decals, carbon fiber overlay, everything. I got a set of BBS RS's for my 180 drifter, and some Volk TE37's for the EVO5. They are really reasonable prices also. I think they are like 6 or 7 bux for each set. I'll get pics up later of the 180 and EVO. Tight **** models so far everyone, keep em commin!!!

Re: Share your scale models - 1/24 and 1/18 scale (BrewerHatch)
My modelkits, all 1/24 except for the Ducati. I'll see if I can find some pics of my 1/18 models.
Revell Corvet C5-R
The effect is photoshopped. Took 2 pics with a camerastand: 1 with body, 1 without and place those over eachother and gave the top one 50% opacity.
Revell Impala
Fujimi SW20
Polar Lights Ecto1 from the first ghostbusters movie.
Tamiya Nissan Skyline R34
An experiment with candy paint, coper basecoat, red clearcoat.
Tamiya Nissan 350Z
Tamiya R32 Macao GP winner.
Fujimi Laborghini Countach
This one was a b1tch to do, 4 opening doors. Lots of detail, not just a nice body on a plastic plate, this thing has every little part, actually every part is little, 6 sprues!
I'm surprise it came out this well.
Revell WRC Focus
I F-ed up the rear on this one.
Revell Lancia Stratos
Great detail on this kit, I had to redo 2 evenings of work when part if it got crushed when putting on the body.
Tamiya Nissan Skyline R32 GT-R
I wish every Tamiya kit was this great.
1/9 Ducati 916 SP
This took a LOT of work, but it's a great looking model.
Revell Dan Fink's Speedwagon
Current project:
Fujimi Sileighty
Custom built from a 240SX and a S13 Silvia. When this is done, I think I'll do the Onevia.

Some more, all bought looking like this, no kits:
AutoArt 1/18 R34
This is such a nice model, expensive to... metal, rotating discbrakes, carpetted floors and seats, real nice.
Kyosho Mini-Z Mugen NSX
BTTF (pt2) DMC DeLorean
And some Transformers Alternators:
Sideswipe, Dodge Viper:
Meister, Mazda RX8:
Swindle, Jeep Wrangler:
Smokescreen, Subaru Impreza:
