replacing roof on SI hatchback with cx roof (no sunroof)
How hard is it to replace the entire roof on a 93 SI hatchback with a cx roof? Is the roof welded on, just tac welded in some places, or is it bolted on? Is this something that an EXPERIENCED body tech needs to do, or can your average person with welding, auto, and body knowledge do it?

If you're looking to drop the weight of an Si by removing the sunroof, you can replace it with a fiberglass cover from Mantaray Motorsports, think it's mmrusa.com. As far as changing the whole roof, that's just crazy!

Re: replacing roof on SI hatchback with cx roof (broke1)
It costs $100, and the shipping weight of the package is 8 lbs, so I'm assuming the insert itself weighs around 5 lbs, and the other 3 is the box and the padding.
