Don't have a pic but I am running the redrilled Lude rotors and the 2-piston GS calipers w/ceramic pads which stops very good.

Several reasons why I did what I did because I factor in the cost of the rotors for many set-ups and the Lude rotors were the most cost effective as far as bigger brake upgrades.

Had a great deal on a Bear 13" rotor/caliper set-up but when I found out the rotors were over $200 a piece my wallet flew away....lol.

Genereally what do you guys factor in when it comes to brake upgrades? Cost, Function, Looks, or JDM?? this coming from a DD point of view of cause.

this is the appearance/cosmetic forum. Looks and JDMness will come first. My 4 piston Acura RL brake setup cost me around $800 and works wonders.

You're pretty far off the mark here. As pictures have proven on the first and second pages, you can fit the Wilwood 12.2" kit under 16" wheels.

Also, the measurements that are critical AREN'T offset, they're inner barrel diameter where the caliper sits and spoke design. Offset has almost nothing to do with it. My SSR's are a +42 offset and clear the Wilwoods just fine. Surely they're not "low offset." Another example is my RL setup: same offset Regamasters and TE37s clear where GABs don't. It's all in the spoke and barrel.

Also, please let people post questions and answers in this thread without putting them on blast. Everyone can learn from this thread. Just look at how many people have already shared good information that you don't even find in the Brake Forum.

yea, around $400. The price I posted includes everything. brake lines, used RL calipers, new OEM acura RL pads, re-drilled 11.8" rotors and brackets.

When you look on fast brakes web site its $425 but that is just for the Fastbrakes 11.8" adapter kit and 11.8" rotors. You still have to buy the Calipers, brake pads, 1" master cylinder and prop. valve.

got my front rotora bbk kit in and im loving it. i will try to get some pictures up soon once i wash my car. the calipers are huge!! i had to put washers up front in order for them to fit underneath my 16x7 +45 offset spoon rims. im pretty sure anything +40 or lower would fit on this rotora bbk setup.

Wow, that sucks. You still got the kit? I've actually been looking at it pretty seriously.

PLEASE tell me you did not use washers as spacers on your wheels to gain more clearance

And here's my picture contribution. It's a Baer 13" kit on a 96 Mitsubishi Galant that I have been running since 2004. Excuse the brake dust on the rotors and the general dirtiness of the car--it's a daily driver.

I forgot to add--this is the same kit that I'm looking to put on my 94 Accord in the next few months.

I think you can use 4x114 Prelude rotors and pads. I'm not 100% on that, but I'm sure someone else can confirm.

Pads are regular DC2 pads. Rotors can be 92-96 NON-VTEC Prelude fronts and DC2 redrilled 4x114.3 rear or just use DC2 redrilled all around.

All I did to redrill mine was to clamp a stock rotor for my car onto the rotor I wanted to use. The center bore was the same so that lined them up. THen just used the drill press to go down through the holes of the stock rotor into the new rotor.
