Picked up a new project. Midori EK wot wot!
Today at a local wrecking yard I was looking around for some Toyota Camray parts and on my way back into the office, I noticed a diamond in the rough. A 97 Midori Green Civic Hatch DX 5 spd 120K miles with minor frame damage. I instantly fell in love.
Being that my dad and I do body work, and we have a frame pulling machine, I asked about the car. At first he told me they bought it to part out. And I was sad. Then he told me that the car came in with a clean title, therefore he could sell the whole thing rather than part it out. I had the hugest smile on my face.
Then I got scared, now the price. We went out and took a look at it and I was pointing out all the bad stuff, while he was pointing out the good. We walked back up to the office and he told me.
$800
I about **** my pants.
End of story.
So the project starts with this, will have more pictures in the next few days.

All i have is cell phone pics, but yes, the whole front is smashed. Pushed the whole left frame horn in pretty far. But I already purchased the cut that I need to fix the frame. And have my eye on an OEM front end at a different wrecing yard. Here is some more pictures.
Most would be afraid to jump into a project like this, but I see things like this get fixed everyday.
And the donor car.
Sorry about the cell phone pictures. Hopefully I can get the digi out and snap a few tomorrow. ?
