Painting Calipers
when i paint my calipers, my friend said i have to take them off totally, then once i get done painting them i have to bleed the brakes. wouldnt it be easy just to put newspaper or something around the discs and stuff and just paint it while it is on the car?? oh yeah i plan on using black high temp 1500 degree paint,

You can just leave them on. That's what my friends and I did when we painting my friends RSX-S calipers. Just wrap everything around the calipers with alot of tape and newspaper. And make sure when the paint dries, you put on a clear coat too.

We were over protective of the car. We spent about two hours just putting the newspaper around the brakes and bars underneith the car, as well as wrapping most of the car. The total job can take anywhere from 2 hours all the way to 6 or 7 depending on what kind of job you want to do.
