Default OPINIONS ON THIS WEEKS OVERHAULIN!!!

This could have been a good opportunity for everyone to see how nice a civic could have been. But they went and ruined it. Post opinions and comments.

i'm watching it right now, and its almost over.

I dont think it looks too bad..the paint job is extreme, but what kinda show would it be if they painted it some one color, bland ("jdm" - beige, grey, green..etc) color..i wont blame them for that..

I was surprised to actually see a motor swap in that primered, body kitted car..and the best part is that Jojo C. guy building the motor!...

pretty sweet..i wanna see them do a hatchback..lol

Car was pretty darn riced out to begin with. Didn't get much better, although in the end it wasnt terrible. Unfortunatly they didn't cover near enough of what they did to the engine. Basically all they mentioned was the NX system. Wheels were too huge and the paint was way too over the top.

Then again, if they had made the car the way all of us on H-T would want it, the retards at home watching who don't know anything about Hondas would have said what the hell they didn't do anythign to it.

I thought it was pretty clean in style besides the paint. The custom extended wing and modified rear bumper looked nice

It didn't bother me. Foose has to give the car some of what the mark wants as well as what he can incorporate into it.

I too was surprised to see a swap inj that primered pos. Wheels shoulda been smaller, interior less standout'ish, and more detail on motor and suspension mods. But not bad. I honestly was expecting worse.

Thank goodness Chip didn't put on the widebody kit like the kid wanted lol.

it sucked im sorry but they didn't do any indepth on anything besides the body work! good lord and that paint job was ehhh the wheels were kind of gay and they had no detail on the motor no tuning nothing and the interior they put racing seats a flip up screen and cf dash kit, not a cf dash but some dash kit come on this guys spends years making cars he could have done better i just didn't like it and well i ver seen better from all of you on here so props to us and kind of a lack luster performance from the show!

Did they say anythign about the motor other than the Nitrous kit? I saw they had what looked like a built head for it, but I dont know for sure. They didn't really say anything else while I was watching.

Exterior-wise:
-Front and rear bumper covers weren't that bad, as the front looked like a C-West bumper
-Paint scheme was the usual rice-a-roni gayness
-Wheels were too big - wtf were those? 18s?

Interior-wise:
-Absolute gayness, but nice upgrade on the door panels

Motor:

I know the motor had a built head, new pistons, Moroso oil pan, 4-1 header, AEM and some noz Thats all I noticed. I hate they said "here's the people who did the motor" edited them out and skiped to the trunk

For what they had to incoporate, they did a good job. At least the quality of the components are still there also, and they found a awsome engine builder. You guys are focusing on the trees, and not the forrest.

Remember what the car looked like before guys. At least 40 pounds of bondo was taken of that car!

It was a 95 civic coupe.

And I just watched it again, and they said JE Pistons, Eagle Rods, and PortFlow did the head. The block also looked either sleeved or had a block guard.
