Kinda sad a bad hotel experience scared you off from the actual show. I think the La Quinta was the site of last years shenanigans as well. I've stayed at the Holidan Inn the last three of the five years I've gone. Lots of people hang out there Saturday night, but no fires/fireworks/fire alarm issues. I guess there's a big difference between people who stay at the $70 hotel and people who stay at the $100 hotel.

Anyway, I decided to only show up Sunday. Here's the only picture I care to upload right now

same here, wish i was there...had to work saturday and help brother move sunday..but, family comes before cars. HOPEFULLY i can make the fall meet.

For next year I guess we will need to make an official list of ''good hotels'' to stay at.. We stayed at the Country Inn and suite and had zero issues.. great atmosphere and everyone was friendly.

Overall EPIC weekend and look forward to seeing all the photo's!

La Quinta was absolute hell. It would be ok if it was kids trying to do burnouts on the street away from people. However it just seemed like kids who wanted to just burn the entire place down.

damn sorry to hear mang. I wish u would've asked because I would've told u la quinta would be a ricershitfest. We were there in 09 and it was still chill but we knew due to people talking after the 09 meet and the highway ramp and all that, it wouldn't be wise to stay there anymore.

On a positive note, ur car looks great!
