Your bumper pole is not mounted in the correct location. It should be as close as possible to the corner of your bumper where it will correctly serve its purpose of informing the driver where the edge of the front end of the vehicle is located.
Also, did your vehicle burp up a tow hook? (Top right corner.) I am curious to know the purpose it serves at this location. I am familiar with ones mounted lower, but never ones mounted level with the hood.

mine doesn't fit with a lip. but then again my bra is for the US market and the lip is the SiR lip, since there was no lip offered in the US.
on a side note that optional lip in that German catalouge is bad ***!

Re: OEM EJ and EG rare and optional Parts
I realise that the bumper pole is on the wrong side, I put it over there because I wanted it over there. The bumper has spots on either side for it so I chose that side. With the pole mounted that is where I had to drill the bumper for the pole to come out. Sorry its not perfect.
Yes that is a tow hook in the front. It serves absolutely no purpose but being my drink holder while working on the car. I like it that is all that matters.
Where can I find a pair of those civic access door inserts? I like those alot, they look freakin sweet

Anyway, it looks like the OEM Honda mask fits very, very tightly, so there's no room for the lip. I had an aftermarket one for my coupe and even though I didn't have a lip, I'm sure I could've just pulled the cover over it.

while they look similar they do not fit, since the 4dr bumper is wider.
