New Wheels! (not a 56K thread!)
I just got some new (to me) wheels. I'm not sure about the current color, maybe I'll get used to it, they are a little scratched up tho, I took a pic of the worst one .. (sorry about the mega pics, I guess they weren't auto resized)
My car isn't clean, I know, too cold out right now.
Anyways, on to the pictures: Tell me what you think when you're done browsing

I hope to be doing that as it gets warmer out. Looking into the cheapie ebay coilovers because I don't race this thing. I've read they suck, and other people say they are great. I'm just not looking to spend hundreds to drop my car 2"

I'll dig into it a little more but paying 1000 bucks for lowering just isn't my thing.

Maybe someone on here has upgraded to real springs and would like to sell me their ebay/offbrand ones? PM me if you have something like that.

wheels look fine, I'm more of an oem wheel kinda guy though
ebay coilovers are dangerous and you are going to have to constantly adjust the height because the perches move and the springs sag. Waste of time. If you wanna be a cheap ***, buy some dropzones. I had good luck with those when I was in high school.
I wouldn't even put ebay coilovers on an ef...

i like the new setup, but as it has been said. give it a drop.
there have been some wild good deals around honda tech recently. you can scope up some tein basics for under 500$ if you keep your eyes peeled.

you're going to run into a world of fail. at the least get Eibach Sportline and KYB AGX. they'll last a good bit and run fairly well.
will only cost you about 400 if you know how to shop online.

Since there is so much talk about lowering my car, does anyone have anything for sale? If you've upgraded or something and have old springs laying around pleas PM me. I've got college to pay for now, so car has to suffer. 400 bucks could either buy me a class or two, or some springs.

Re: New Wheels! (not a 56K thread!)
Think about it.
Spend $800-1000 for a good set of coilovers. $200 for a camber kit + alignment.
and roll comfortable for years.
OR
$150 for coilovers, And spend the next couple years buying Struts, Tires, Balljoints, Tierods.
Im speaking from experence. Ive had 3 CB7s, 1 CB9, and 2 CD5's.
Tein Basic Dampers were the best investment. I bought one set, and had them on all 6 cars, Over 5 years.
Bottom line...
Quality Parts Last.

Re: New Wheels! (not a 56K thread!)
In my book a drop comes before wheels/tires, but as long as you're happy, that's all that matters.
IMO it would look better dropped on the stock wheels, rather than stock ride height on 17" wheels.
