Need "black" wheel, what brand?
I'm thinking about getting some "black wheels" (carbon fiber, etc.) 16" for my car. What brands are out there. Please list web sites, pics, links, or prices if you know.
Thanks

Here's the pic:
Doesn't look that dark in the pic, but that's because it's kinda like a polished black finish. Looks pretty damn dark at different angles.

I know you can get the K-1 Kosei's at http://www.tirerack.com, something like $139/rim; I think they sell the SSR Competitions too, a lot more expensive though. Both nice lightweight rims.

the rota circuit 8 and the subzero in bronze are pretty slick and light.
I can get you a contact for a groupbuy on them.

Just get a wheel you like at a good price and have a local shop pwder coat it whatever color you want. You could even get a used set if you're gonna re-finish them anyway.

I have Team Loco 143's (Anthracite) on my G2. Purchased them from The Tire Rack for about $120 each. Here's a picture of them:
They are kind of heavy though. A 16" should be lighter but it'll still be a heavyish wheel.

Thanks everyone. You'll never guess what happened. I was on my way home from America's Tire Co to check some wheels out, prices, etc. And I for some strange reason hit a curb while I was making a turn at about 10mph. To give you an idea, the car went up the curb and back down.
Can you say Stuuuupppiiiidddddd. I scratch up bad my right 2 year old Konig GTR that was in perfect mint condition. I was thinking of selling them to get the "black wheel."
Now I can't ask for the mint condition price. My car does not vibe at hwy speed, so I don't think there is any damage. But F*******K.
In a strange way, I don't think I'll be getting them because I was planning to get 16s or 17s. And they would have been killed if I made that stupid mistake of hitting a curb like that again at that speed. Man.... What was I thinking.......
