My 1994 Si Hatch - Supercharged K, Shaved, Tucked, etc.

I want to know more about the brake and wheel set up. I'm going with 11" front rotors myself with gsr wheels but i really want the wheels you have but in a 7.5" width and I'm not sure if they will clear, also I'm going 10" rears but curious what you did to get the 11" rears.

As far as if 949 Racing 6UL in 7.5 width would clear 11' fronts? Depends completely on the offset of the wheels and the size/type of the caliper.

11'' rears are a Fastbrakes kit that has OEM EH3 Si caliper relocation brackets. Fronts are old school Brake Expert machined caliper hangers to adapt the twin piston OEM 1994-1995 Legend GS-only calipers (same as NSX but have bigger pistons and must be mounted inverted which means bleeding them requires them to be swung up haha) with OEM 1994-1995 thick-*** 11'' Legend GS-only rotors re-drilled for 4x100. These rotors are much thicker and more durable than DC2/ITR rotors of the commonly used re-drilled Prelude VTEC rotors. I'll likely be upgrading the front brakes to something with easier to source rotors the next time I need brakes though, because re-dilling the Legend GS rotors isn't something most machine shops are willing to do.

LOL not everyone loved the video haha! Most did, but some random IG do-gooders expressed their concerns about me doing a pull with my family in the car. Fairly certain I've been doing this long enough to not kill us.

Some random updates since I've not shared much here in a while. Hybrid Racing CAI I cut to fit my set-up, their dress up dipstick and oil cap added. Was about to dump a few grand into some upgrades, but decided to add another car to the stable instead. A few pics of it with the hatch.

No major updates or anything, but I replaced the main cooling fan motor after mine died. The fact that it can idle in 90 degree weather with the A/C slinging ice cubes means that the new Mishimoto fan is doing its job.
Also recently cleared out some space in my garage to fit three of the four (sorry RA3 Odyssey) in it. Picked up some car skates to make getting a car into/out of the corner easier.

Took some more on-the-fly pics with my phone while out grabbing some food for the family. I'm pretty impressed with the phone.

Re: My 1994 Si Hatch - Supercharged K, Shaved, Tucked, etc.
Some updates for maybe 7 people to check out.
Got a pile of suspension parts, and only waiting on OEM front lower balljoints to arrive to get going on it all. After that it's driving on the current old stickies to get new stickies mounted, balanced, and then a proper 4-wheel performance/handling alignment done by the best shop in ATL.
Street car with an emphasis on balanced handling, so I chose hard rubber bushings where ride quality and noise are concerns with spherical.
These parts should pair with the current custom rate/valved 670/560 BC Racing digressive coilovers.
- PCI front upper camber arms, low profile for extra clearance, spherical uppers
- ASR spherical front upper control arm anchors
- HardRace hard rubber compliance bushings
- OEM Honda lower balljoints
- HardRace (K-Tuned branded) front lower control arms, hard rubber bushings
- ASR subframe brace + 24mm adjustable sway bar combo
- ASR rear lower control arms
- HardRace rear trailing arm bushings, hard rubber
- HardRace rear adjustable toe links, hard rubber bushings (only come in blue, but thankfully you can't see them)
- Maxxis Victra VR-1 S1 in 205/50/15
I'm okay with sacrificing some straight line lower gear traction/acceleration (due to more negative camber up front as a result of the new PCI arms that are shorter than my current Skunk2 ones) in favor of absolute cornering pleasure. I think the new tires will help get the power to the ground even with a little less straight line contact patch.
We'll see!

Thanks man!
I've resisted going with any bling bling rear LCA parts forever, but I wanted to replace all bushings, and get something nicer than OEM for a change. These are ASR and I got them from Art of Attack. I figured if I was going with a bigger bar I might as well get something designed as a unit with the ASR rear brace, and 24mm bar.

BTW if you've got about 11 mins to spare this is the best video of my hatch. It's a "That Dude in Blue Car Review" and he even shouts out Honda-Tech, and my silver hatch build from 2000-2001!

Nice parts! I’d love to see a shot of the back when the lower control arms and subframe brace are installed.
That review was pretty good. I saw it when it came out and thought he did a good job.

This is an impressive build. Lots of nice quality parts and I see you didn't take any short cuts.
Did you have any issues getting the AC to work in your car?

I don't need forged track wheels to gain the approval of others. I appreciate them, sure, but when I see a car sitting on Volks and it has a lot of other deficiencies I don't respect that car more than the next who has original cast less expensive wheels.
Here's where the Volk money went:
- Wilwood DynaPro 4-piston radial mount calipers, 11.75'' Wilwood two piece rotors kit for the DC knuckles.
- Disassembled for powder coating, reassembling with all new bolts, hardware, etc.
- New rotors, street pads, and have multiple sets of new track pads and two sets of spare rotors for track use if desired.
- Ceramic coating for the new calipers, rotor hats, and 949s
- New inner (HardRace) and outer (OEM Honda) tie rods
- New OEM Honda lower ball joints
- Karcepts 36mm hubs
- Upgrading to 36mm axles - OEM or better
- New tires waiting to go on after all the refreshing is done
