Meguiars NXT Tech wax works wonders!!!
Sorry for the quality of the pics, but this is a 99 Milano Red Civic whose paint has took a beating of 5 years of the Arizona sun. This wax works wonders, just after the first coat. Im sure it will look better after more coats.

S100 is great, too. It creates perhaps the deepest gloss I've ever seen, but this Meguiars stuff looks pretty good.
How are you applying it and where did you get it. Looks great.

It costs $14.99. All local stores will have it soon. Walmart and autoparts stores. We havent got it on the west coast yet, so I ordered directly from Meguiars. Applied just like any other wax. Foam applicator, buff to remove.

Re: (Billy Blue Hatch)
all you used was wax? on a car that sat like that i would have went with the 4 step
after wash
1. clay
2. meguiars "step 1" paint cleaner system - by hand
3. turtle wax Color Cure polish for whatever color your car is -by hand (in your case red. )
4. final wax with whatever deep gloss carnuba or whatever u like. -with a buffer .. i used the Show Car Glaze from meguiars on my 240..

I agree, the car needs a clay bar bad, just didnt have one at the time. How does the step 1 cleaner work?

it works awesome.. makes the paint nice n clean, perfectly prepared for wax.. especially after clay.. clay makes the paint smooth as a baby's bottom.. the color cure stuff will even make little light scratches n stuff disappear for the most part.. plus the actual polish itself is red so it will make the paint look nice afterward..

S100 is some good stuff. Took advantage of the no rain today and did a quick coat of it on my SI. No pictures cause it got dark and is supposed to rain later but it made a difference. Didn't realize how badly it needed a wax jub untill I did it and saw the results tonight.

He's my process I used on my car. Got rid of about 70% of the swirls and made a lot of the touch ups and deeper scratches much less noticeable. All step were applied with a Porter Cable 7424 polisher and the pad listed. These products are some of the best on the market, and are what the Concours guys swear by:
Yellow pad- prep with Mezerna Intensive Polish, then followed up with Meguiars Medallion Cleanser and P21S Cleanser
White pad- polish with Mezerna Final Polish. Very difficult to apply, but I think this step makes the difference. Great product.
Black Pad- about 4 coats of S100, wiped off with my finest ($25) microfiber towel.
I got the car looking a **** load better than I ever thought was possible. Before, the paint was dull, blemished and lifeless. Now, it's very rich (for being Frost White), clearer and brighter.
