That EF9 is amazing, THAT'S the stuff 4th gen dreams are made of! This STD...meh. It's like being excited over finding a signed copy of Vanilla Ice's first release (STD)...you know it's not gonna be worth anything and there were plenty of artists (Si Hatch/CRX) doing much better things at that time. I was more excited when I found my 100k Si than this. Seeing "STD" or "4 speed" in a post about 4th gen civics is super disappointing.
Good find either way, it seems to make you happy so awesome.

Re: Meet Gemma. 36,156 orginial miles.
id absolutely trip over myself to find a 4 speed STD model like that.
i've had a bunch of 4 speeds..and i'd LOVE to buy that car, or one like it, if i stumbled upon one.
you guys are really the definition of "hater". he didnt say he had something museum worthy, but hes showing his very neat find off on a honda website.i think its AMAZING that stuff like this exists. and who gives a crap about HEAVY SLOW si's or SIRs? (moderately joking, dont **** your pants with anger)..if anyone is looking for something to build into a performance car, an STD is the best platform. haha
its pretty sad to see how this forum (over the past couple years) has run people out by telling them there stuff is stupid somehow, and putting the generally vibe out there that a few people are "cool", and everything else is a waste of time to look at. this place is dying a rapid death how a post like this gets hated on i'll never know.

Re: Meet Gemma. 36,156 orginial miles.
im starting to think these EF ***** are worse than type R purists, lol.
some of these comments...

I make a thread to show off what I feel is something not found too often only to be told if it were a much more amazing and powerful Si with 3x as many miles, this thread would be worth looking at.
please continue, im dying here.

something from this line up maybe:
67fstbk
so rare
rare ef
og 4spd
barnfnd

Re: Meet Gemma. 36,156 orginial miles.
guy posts thread sharing his new daily with the honda community which just happens to be a 21 year old one owner civic with low miles and out come the oh but bla bla oh but wah wah with a little more bla bla when a simple 'nice find' or 'nice ride' would've sufficed; **** some even posted links with description and pics of what they deem a 'collectible' when the OP made no such claims about his find, lol.
Well done, Colin!
irony
I think u r just mad that your car did not look like OP's when u first got it. It's ok man.
After some minor mods (rattle can, fogs, sidemarkers, and a lip)
This is where the car sits ATM with the wiring getting completely redone to my specs (not hondas! )
btw colin, u need these tails brah.

This is killing this guys thread... Clipsed, just stop and realize your trolling/hating/ego trip is ruining the forum for everyone else. At this point your just here to start trouble... and no one likes a trouble maker.
Back on to this guys find...
It may only be an STD but I sure as heck would love to come across an EF this clean to add to the mix.. great starting point for however you decide to build it up. I vote track car.

Re: Meet Gemma. 36,156 orginial miles.
So let's see if I got this straight...
OP just found a mint 40mpg dd, which by spending pennies on regular maintenance it's guaranteed to get him anywhere until at least the year 2025. While Clipsed's car looks like it might give me cancer if I touched it.
