Maximum Tire and Wheel Fitment Thread
After seeing this thread on 240sx.org, I want one for us. By maximum fitment, I mean width. That being said, make it rain.

It's weak compared to most RWD setups, but I figured I'd give this thread a starting point.

Tire stretch? Weak. You could have easily fit those tires on a narrower wheel, first of all. Secondly, if you had bought some wheels that actually fit your car properly, you wouldn't have had any fitment issues with that wheel width/tire combination. This isn't the low offset thread. We've already got one of those. Come back when you get something beefier to post up.

Yeah my 215/45s rub at full lock on the mugens but they're +42 i believe. Maybe a 5-10mm wheel spacer?

That RSX is crazy! What did you have to do so that you could run a 275 series in the front and still turn?

Re: Maximum Tire and Wheel Fitment Thread
You don't have to say anything about tire stretching. You can see it in the pictures. If they are 225 - 235's, you could have put them on a 7.5" wide wheel for better tire fitment. With those 9" wide wheels, proper fitment is around 255 - 265. What you have now is perfect for the low offset thread, but those tires are just too weak for this thread.

Re: Maximum Tire and Wheel Fitment Thread
My street/hardparking setup. 255/40 and 235/45 Advan AD07s:
Well I can still turn a bit, but I won't be doing any U turns. The tyres rub on the fenderliners and then probably hit steel before I get close to full lock. Doesn't matter for track use.
BTW its an Integra :p.
