MANY pics from my Europe trip, 50+ pics, might even choke broadband :P
Well here we go, I took about 50 pics out of the 800 total pics I took and resized them and such, for your viewing pleasure. Camera (which can be seen in one of the pics) is my new Canon SD400 5MP camera, which took absolutely amazing pics for its size (smaller than a deck of cards). So here we go....
First, Prague:
The town flooded to this level on Aug. 14, 2002, and ironically, this pic was taken on Aug. 14 2005:
You may recognize this area from the beginning of Mission Impossible, the gate where the girl was stabbed is on the right. The bridge where I'm standing is where John Voight threw himself off and the car exploded nearby:
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Now on to Brno in the Czech Republic, where we did our missions work:
local shopping mall:
bored while waiting on dinner
On the train headed to Krakow:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Krakow, Poland:
Auschwitz and Birkenau concentration camps, I took these in black and white to try and capture the somber nature of the place.
Platform where prisoners were brought in on train cars, and the doctor there pointed either left or right to indicate which became prisoners to work, and which went immediately to the gas chambers:
Ruins of a gas chamber and incineration building bombed near the end of the war:
RIP to all the victims:
And the absolute best picture I took, in my opinion, on the entire trip. These are the some of the bunks in Birkenau where prisoners slept, at least 4 and up to 8 on each level. Anything from the top, came down to the bottom (you get the idea):
And this is a neat pic I took on the train to Vienna, the bottle of shower gel from the hotel room in Krakow leaked into my friends bag, and left these bubbles:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Vienna, Austria
Neat Mercedes ad on a bus:
Means "Have a Good Ride" but looks funny anyway
World's oldest Ferris Wheel, built in 1897:
2 variations of the Smart car:
St. Stephen's cathedral
Preserved section from the original city, dating back over 2000 years I believe:
This is part of one restaurant where we ate, they make 5 different kinds of beer here, and damn is it good.
This place has the absolute best ice cream on the planet, hands down:
We took a side trip out to Melk to visit the abbey there:
Cathedral inside the abbey:
Souvenier I picked up, very detailed 1/43 scale Lancia Delta 1985 WRC champion:
Outside our hotel:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
And finally, Budapest, Hungary
Honda Logo:
Water level of the Danube due to the flooding in southern Germany and Austria last week
The Chain Bridge, Budapest's first permanent crossing over the Danube:
Chain bridge from our hotel balcony:
Elizabeth bridge from our balcony:
Castle across the river:
At sunset:
The trip was absolutely amazing. It was long, almost too long, for living out of my suitcase and all. I wish I could post all the pics, but alas that's almost 700 MB.

$15 at Target my man I loved being able to stick the tripod in one pocket and the camera in the other pocket as we were walking all over the cities.

In-*******-Credible pics!!! How much was that camera, if you don't mind me asking?
Been to some of those places, but it's been several years. Same shitty cars, though
Oh. And if that's you in one of those pics, man, do you ever need a haircut
Ben

lol I'm not in any of the pics, my hair gets cut about once a month with a #2 blade on clippers (i.e. almost no hair).
camera is a Canon SD400 Digital ELPH, $400 from Best Buy or Circuit City. It's the size of a credit card and 0.8" thick.
