i had mines for 2 1/2 years on stock struts and i run my car majority of weekends on mountain passes with friends and also its a dd.imo theyre pretty nice and it was like a 2 inch drop just to get rid of gap.bouncy at first but when it settled it was fine.no stripping and nothing blown since 2005.saving for teins but yeah mines are fine.i guess u get lucky from ebay if u get the good ones or the bad ones.but imo if its temp u might as well save to get the branded fulls.

I have eGay coils on my Integra. They ride like crap, handle a tad bit better than crap and are built like crap. The only reason I have them because they were free.

LMAO.
I probably should have added, that I'd never rock a set again after switching to GC/Koni's. Honestly, mine were okay. They fit fine and sustained a lot of adjusting. They road pretty nicely too. I didn't get them off ebay though, they were just a no-name ("Racer Design") setup at a local speedshop.

but if you still want to use the eBay coils, buy some aftermarket shocks.

Re: LOWERED CARS ON EBAY COILOVERS and stock shocks
I bought cheap KYC coil-overs for my 96' and they worked. I am not sure how well, because I did not have anything to compare them too. My advice: don't buy crap, it sucks and fails in all instances and items, put your hard earned money into quality, it lasts and can sometimes be fixed with parts. Maybe the cheap ones are only $50, but that is $50 towards good parts. How long did you have to work to earn that? Do you love your job, cuz you'll just have to work it that much longer. Good luck!

In my experiance, all (unless dropping serious money on suspension) are like the same, just run with the stock struts and the coil overs. exactly what the guy above me said, im running stock struts, and just coil overs. I need new struts, ask me if im just gonna replace them with stock ones, yes, yes i am.
unless ya got money to dump into suspension then do it up name brand, you mostly paying for the brand tho
