finally done w/ bmw HID retrofit
its not an easy task but its soooo worth it. man, one of the best mods ive ever done to my EG. id like to give a shout out to "illtakeone" and "airbagclub" for the help and encouragement
i spent about 300+ dollars on the bi xenon kit that i got from ebay... now i understand why the projector housing is better than a reflector housing. beam pattern is just so nice.
here are the pics:
before i painted the housing
about 10 ft away
15 ft
pics after i painted the housing w/ high heat flat black: (orig.jpg for full size)
the projectors i used were just sitting in my garage and i actually planned on getting rid of them....good thing i didnt.

Re: finally done w/ bmw HID retrofit (BlazinTeg)
im going to be re-doing my retrofit pretty soon because i need to go in and re-center everything and make a diffuser.. but im also thinking about getting better projectors, so i guess i will see what happens.. your conversion looks properly done though.. ive been tryin to talk my cousin into this for over a year now, but no dice yet.

Re: finally done w/ bmw HID retrofit (Code Blue)
good job. a question though, would the stock DC projectors be adequate for H.I.D.'s or would it be better/cheaper to buy another set of OEM projectors etc. on ebay?
