oh no, not this discussion again. from what ken told me (the last owner/BENEN) misc. parts, motor, the BENEN license plate was recovered at some kid's garage, but the shell was never found.

lol that car didnt die, the dude from am7 brought it back to life and painted his the same color, and the other dude with the green hatch with the same color rocking black ce28's

haha,
man I remember paging that issue,
I had my 89 hatchback at the time (99'), still saving for the JDM front (those were fun days)
Saw the Alpine green piece fly onto the 210 fwy, thought to myself "I need a motor"
Then i saw the red DC a few years ago, looked much better with the MF10s
Definite props to Lee, Jonny, Jason and the rest. FFLocals
J Wong STILL stands like that! . . .

I remember that issue. And I remember JDM was NOT that hot back then and people would look at it and be like "Why is that car so stock looking?"

Yeah I remember that issue, I have all the pics hanging up on my wall. Lee has built some very nice cars, especially the Teg. His brother Johnny's hatch is pretty bad-*** also!!! Wasn't that the fist time Super Street ever put a JDM style car in an issue??
