crushing about 140 cars. pics inside
well i work at a salvage yard and we crushed about 140 cars in 2 days. here are some pics.
there is a 92 prelude
this accord was like this for about 20 more min

on another note, do you siphon the gas out before you crush them? i also work at a junk yard and i havent filled up for a few weeks already.

there are still parts on the cars at your yard. hah
junkyards around here are raped so bad you cant even get rubber moldings off the cars.

all the gas tanks have to be taken out to go into the crusher.
some of the cars dont stay to long in the yard. the passat wagon was in for only a week before we crushed it. some are there for years and they get picked clean

yeah but were in the woods so no swaps and hardly any bolt-ons. plus my parts driver is into honda's as well so we have to race each other. a civic did just come in with konig illusion wheels on it so i bought some new tires and put them on my wifes civic. they look good.

Do they just melt those cars down and reuse the metal? What about all the plastic, glass, and rubber in the cars, doesn't that taint the metal?

these cars went to jersey city,nj they went thru a shredder and are now on a boat heading over seas to be made into other cars.
