Carbon Fiber hood Sun damaged?? Restoration???
well i got a VIS carbon hood and it's getting a little sun faded i went to macco they said they wouldnt mess with it becuase there a nightmare well i was going to WET SAND IT WITH 1000 Grit sand paper and have a body shop reclear it has anyone brought a carbon fiber hood back to life???? would my theaory work?

I purchased a damaged CF trunk and had my friend sand it down and reclear it, looks brand new.
the problem with using a wax is that overtime it'll lose its luster again. if you reclear it then it lasts a lot longer.
you can also try peanut butter....someone tried that before i think...
