Bronze Paint?
I'm looking for the color code for some paint that matches the bronze on the mugen rims. I know the rims are powder coated and not painted, but I need paint.

Re: Bronze Paint? (matty c)
Does it come in a non-spray can? I'm having a professional painter do it for me, I think they'll be able to match it pretty close, but I was wondering what people on ht got

Re: Bronze Paint? (PolyPill)
Your best bet would be to take a rim to a automotive paint supplier and see if they could match it. Some large stores have a device that can be used to tell what pigments are in the color and in what concentration. I tried to match the bronze on my Volks and it proved to be very hard, but I am not sure if the Volk and Mugen bronze is the same color. Get a can of the spray paint and spray a spare piece of metal then put it next to your rims and see how close the color is.

I've got to disagree. I used it without primer on my wheels and then used the duplicolor clear coat and my wheels came out perfectly and never got a scratch on them.

Where did you order it from? I could've saved a h-t member alot of work if I knew where I could've ordered it

Re: (H.crx-si)
I'm not using it on my rims, I want a bronze to match my rims for engine compartment stuff. Not high temp.
Links, part numbers, anything would be helpfull. I'm not going to use spray cans, that's a bit too ghetto for me

I didn't have a machine available, so it was hard for me to match the color by looks and guessing what colors to use. Looked close in the can but came out much to light when it was sprayed on.

Re: Bronze Paint? (cnydc2)
Well I just was at Autozone and picked up the last two cans of dulicolor bronze and am planning to do my C5's when it gets a little warmer.
