most after market rims are tapered seats.
With conical seated lug nuts, it's not necessary to have a hub centering ring. All you have to do is first hand tighten the nuts then torque them in a proper start pattern, which you should do with standard lug nuts anyways. Most aftermarket rims will be conical seat instead of hub centric. If you're worried about it because of loading the studs vs the hub, I'd suggest ARP studs, but in most cases, if you know how to properly torque your nuts, you're not going to have an issue.

Re: 6UL wheels by 949racing.com, lets see em!
Do you have to notch the rear camber arm to fit the 15x7.5 on an eg civic coupe? Also since it seems like you do on a 8" wide, why is that? Is it cause of the inner styling of the wheel?, or cause its 8" wide?
Reason I'm asking is cause I was looking at getting these or drag dr54, the dr 54's are 8.25" wide so idk if I will have to the same grinding of the rear camber arm to make the dr54's work. Thanks for any info guys.

Nothing wrong with 7's - less weight and I think the 7's and 7.5's have always been gen 3, so less prone to cracks.

x7 have always been gen 3 i know for a fact. no clue about 7.5. There is a good weight difference from 7-8. I just cant wait to get them on the track and try them out with the 205s!

Ready to order a set of 7.5 bronze (all that's available right now) for my CRX and have 2 questions:
1) Will I have any issues with rubbing with the 15x7.5 offset 42?
2) I'm being offered hubcentric rings but was told they are only necessary if I track the car which I will NOT be doing so should I pass on them?
Thanks!
